The Tale of Magic Pixie Dust, by John P. Hoepfner One Christmas Eve a long time ago a small girl named Sara and her younger brother named Ben decided they would check their house out for any hidden Christmas presents. The younger brother Ben did believe in Santa but the sister did not. She was wiser! While snooping they found a small colorful box. They opened the box and then found themselves in a never never land. They met a witch. The small box turned out to contain Magic Pixie Dust. The witch tells them the story of Magic Pixie Dust and how the Dust is made and how she had given some dust to a small girl years ago in the same situation. The witch tells the little girl to promise not to tell anyone where or from whom she received the Magic Pixie Dust and that she could only use it on her own children if she ever had any. The girl promises and promises not to tell and POOF the witch disappears and where the witch stood is a small, colorful, glittering box full of MAGIC PIXIE DUST. The small girl, Sara runs back to her home, hides the small box and the rest is history. About the Author A conservationist and environmentalist, was born and raised in Fond du Lac, WI. Always interested in writing, he started serious writing in 1968 while taking Eng. Comp. 101 on the U.W. Campus in Fond du Lac. John has written numerous nature articles. His childrens story, "The Tale of Magic Pixie Dust" was started around 1993 and originated because of his love of children, story telling, make believe and nature all rolled into one.
