MANAGEMENT
The Cyclops Corporation management team includes experts in
publishing, eBusiness, and high technology operations,
software development, sales and marketing. Each has been
successful at the same level in a similar organization, and
some of the founders have successful startup company
experience.
David Spiselman, CEO, President and Chairman
Mr. Spiselman is a former management consultant with
over eight years of engagements in start-ups, mergers,
acquisitions, divestitures and IPOs. He has been co-founder
of several start-ups, including venture-funded
corporations. Previous to his consulting activities, Mr.
Spiselman was CFO of Stage Guitar Corporation. Before that
he was VP of Finance at Sonnet Financial, Inc., a
venture-funded start-up. He worked for Time Inc. for
several years near the start of his career. He has been
published and quoted in the financial trade press, in books
and in US News & World Report, and was adjunct
faculty for seven years at the Graduate Business School of
NYU, where he earned his MBA in Finance.
Jay Glover, Chief Financial Officer and Vice President,
Finance
Ms. Glover has over eighteen years in management at both
large corporations and at start-ups. She currently is the
Chief Financial Officer, Business Strategies Inc., a
management consulting firm. She was the Controller and
Director of Operations at Sonnet Financial, Inc. Prior to
that she was Director, Global Financial Consolidation and
Analysis, Adia (Adecco) International, S.A. She earned her
MBA in Finance at Wayne State University.
Hal Bogner, Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Bogner has nineteen years of software design, development and publishing experience. A chess master by training, he has worked with programmers in almost every possible role, and has been responsible for over thirty product and web site releases. Mr. Bogner has been Director of Site Development for a major corporate web design firm (Online Focus, Inc.), and a Producer at the leading game software publisher (Electronic Arts). Most recently, he has been an eBusiness Consultant in the areas of e-commerce, web property design and online game development for such diverse clients as Handspring, Freesamples.com, Apple, Novell, Embassy Suites Hotels, AOL, MSN, and Electronic Arts.
Richard Tabor, Vice President, Engineering
Richard has over 22 years of experience in the computer industry. Most recently, Tabor worked at SmartCalendar, Inc, which built scalable calendar/pim solutions for internet businesses. Previously, he was at Aqueduct
Software as Chief Architect developing a system for remote software failure analysis (AppScope). At Internet
Profiles Corp. (IPRO), he played a key role in the design and evolution of the end-to-end processing of
web log data from some of the largest sites on the internet. Tabor has also held senior engineering
positions at FirePower Systems, Go Corp., Digital Equipment Corporation, Tandem Computers, Software
Publishing Corp., Gavilan Computer, Apple Computer, and Zilog.
Gavin Vess, Chief Technology Officer
A 7-year veteran of the software integration services industry, Vess has
managed and lead agile teams architecting scalable, multi-tiered, web-
accessible solutions for several fortune 500 companies focused on ROI,
and two DOT COMs. Vess's broad experience in the services sector superbly
matches with the unique needs of Web-centric product development for
companies requiring highly specialized systems. With a Master's degree
in Computer Science, Vess managed the IT team at Infonent, and, most
recently, as the Head of Technology at Planetarabia.com, Vess supervised
technology-related development efforts, including recruiting, mentorship,
and applying technology throughout the company to improve productivity of
processes by both technical and non-technical staff.
